County Groups

Kent Music has an excellent reputation for providing County level music making.  Our County Groups perform in over 40 County level concerts every year and are often invited to play at other events and occasions.  For example,  in 2011 the Kent Youth Choir sang in the Sounds New Festival and, on 18th November, one of our Junior Choirs took part in a live televised Children in Need broadcast from Bluewater Shopping Centre.  In June 2012 the Kent County Youth Orchestra will be playing at Deal Festival.

The Kent County Youth Orchestra is one of the best youth orchestras in the UK and we are equally proud of our choirs and wind bands. In addition to the many leading conductors and music directors we employ, specialist tutors are engaged to work with all of our county ensembles, often from top London orchestras and other internationally renowned ensembles and choirs.
