CPD & Training
Kent Music offers a range of creative, resourceful and up-to-date professional development for music educators in the county. To achieve our vision of all music educators, practitioners and leaders of all levels having the opportunity and confidence to learn and share from each other, Kent Music has created the ‘Kent Talks Music’ initiative, which encourages communication through networking, CPD and training events.
Please be aware that some of the events below are hosted by Kent Music, and some are run by other organisations around the UK.

MusicPlus at Key Stage 2
First session is FREE for MusicPlus teachers!*

Tuesday 12th September 2017 at 9am – 1pm, The Orchards Events Venue, West Malling
*All MusicPlus teachers can attend one session between September 2016—July 2017 free of charge. After that, each session is only £5 to attend. Other packages are available for 1-2-1 and small group teachers. Local Network Meetings
Local area network meetings run by Kent Music are open to all music teachers in the areas, both specialist and non-specialist. The meetings include elements of CPD and discussions which help to facilitate the growth of music provision in the local area.

Other CPD Events
A 2-day course, fully funded by the British Council’s Connecting Classrooms Programme
This course will enable you to explore a wide range of tools for encouraging effective communication and collaboration amongst your students and raising achievement across the whole class.
