Calling all budding artists and art students aged 14-25!

How would you like to design a stage set based around the theme of ‘Roots’ for the Orchestra ONE: Project 17 concert?

You will be working in collaboration with Orchestra ONE and developing free standing and hanging three dimensional glowing light pieces for the audience to explore. Using traditional drawing techniques alongside, making with willow, and spray painting we aim to create a fresh and current atmosphere that enhances the Orchestra ONE music, while telling the origin stories of all participants. This is an exciting opportunity to work with professional street artist and illustrator Greg Stobbs aka Squirl Art on an inspiring and immersive visual installation.

The workshops take place at Invicta Grammar School, Huntsman Lane, Maidstone E14 5DS

Project timetable

Day 1: Tuesday 1st August at 10am – 4pm
Day 2: Wednesday 2nd August at 10am – 4pm
