Welcome to Maidstone Music Centre!

Maidstone Music Centre (MMC) is an inspiring local music hub based in the heart of the community and designed with musicians in mind.

We’re one of the largest music centres in Kent, offering a range of lessons and ensembles for musicians of all ages, backgrounds and interests several nights a week in term time.

It’s the best place to connect with the local music community, providing access to fantastic music education outside of school hours and regardless of the availability of lessons and groups in schools.

Whether you’re a pro or brand new to music, you’ll find something for you at MMC. We look forward to welcoming you!

First half term is free for new students!

If you join the Centre as a new member in the first half of Autumn, Spring or Summer term, you can enjoy completely free sessions until that half term break. Find out more in our Terms & Conditions.

Joining a local music ensemble like an orchestra, choir or band can enhance this playing, giving you the opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn new skills, and become a confident player.

Ensembles are always enjoyable, and often there is the opportunity to join in with performances and showcase your talents.

Music Centre membership is fantastic value from only £4.50 a week, with some great benefits!

As a member you will have access to all ensembles at our Music Centres across Kent, so you can join as many as you wish, no matter which centre you initially signed up at.

Tuition is an additional charge, but you will receive a 10% discount on your membership if you wish to also wish to join an ensemble at a Music Centre.
