Tonbridge Centre Concert

The Tonbridge Centre Spring Concert took place on Friday 15th March and provided a mix of jazz and classical music for an audience of approximately 60 guests.

The first half began with the centre’s recorder ensemble playing a selection of short pieces including a Serenade for Maid Marian by R Harvey and following that, a jazz duo and then J Waves, our Tonbridge Jazz band, continued the concert with their own original compositions.

The second half began welcomed the West Kent Youth String Orchestra performing pieces from Purcell’s “The Moor’s Revenge” and the finale came from the West Kent Youth Orchestra which played the first movement from Beethoven’s Symphony no 5.

Thanks to all performers, teachers and audience members.

Pictured here is the hall just before the concert – looking pretty with Spring Daffs!
