MTMC is Out and About Again!

It was the turn of the clarinets, saxophones and recorders to share their skills with a wider audience this month as Medway Towns Music Centre continued its ‘Out and About Concert Series’

Eight ensembles from the 26 activities available at MTMC played to a very appreciate audience at St Mary and All Saints Church in Boxley, Maidstone last weekend.

‘It was lovely to hear such a variety of pieces played by very talented students/teachers et al, and we very much appreciate them giving up their time to give us such professional entertainment’

The variety of music being played was huge and with an instant invitation to return again at the end of the concert the performers can quite rightly be very proud of their performances. The evening raised just under £400 for church funds and gave the audience the opportunity to hear a superb programme of music in a beautiful venue. Remember the centre is always keen to see new members so visit the website for more details of what is on offer at Kent & Medway’s largest Music Centre.

Teachers are welcome at any point to visit and chat over a real coffee with the centre manager Phill Hyde of how we can help your students with more ensemble playing or theory.  At only £4 per week for as many groups as you would like this is a great opportunity to meet other like minded musicians that simply love making music.

All ages are welcome so make contact now!
