Wind Band Course

Thursday 11 July – Tuesday 16 July 2024

During this course woodwind, brass and percussion players will experience playing alongside others in a large ensemble under the expert guidance of wind band professionals.

During sectional and full rehearsals, players are introduced to a broad range of music including arrangements of well-known pieces and more traditional wind band repertoire.

They have the opportunity to develop their technique and enhance their ensemble playing skills in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

The course will end with a performance for family and friends on Tuesday 16 July.

All of our staff who work with children and young people have a current enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure & Barring Service and we run a programme of regular child protection training for our teachers.
