Help us make music education accessible for all
We’re funded by Arts Council England and Kent County Council to deliver music education across Kent and Medway – but this funding can only go so far.
Every year, we provide financial assistance to hundreds of young people, both those learning with Kent Music and through other music providers. Additional donations allow us to extend this support even further, offering more children and young people the chance to take part.
Every donation – large or small – goes directly into funding real musical opportunities for young people across the county, including free instrument hire (subject to availability), one-to-one lessons, and participation in local music groups.
Together, we can ensure that music education doesn’t become a casualty of the cost-of-living crisis.
How your donation helps
Your support helps young people access music education who otherwise might not be able to. You’ll be supporting them to build confidence, creativity, and skills that will last a lifetime.

The impact of your support
Last year, Kent Music supported over 500 people to take part in music education through our financial support. Through individual lessons, ensemble playing, workshops and instrument loans, we’re helping to build a creative, confident and connected generation.
Music has the power to transform lives, but only if young people can access it. Your support makes that possible.
