Our three day holiday courses are a fantastic opportunity for young people to play together in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Participants have the chance to meet others with a similar interest in music and get to share and enjoy playing in groups.
Course leaders will encourage and help students develop and extend their ensemble skills. Following the courses, leaders will be able to recommend and signpost other activities which would be appropriate for their age and experience.
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from students aged 7+ who have reached a playing standard of between grade 1 and 5 for the Strings and Wind Band course.
Will I be auditioned?
No audition is required. If you would like an audition for a different group while you are on course, eg. County Choirs, arrangements can be made.
There will be end of course concerts starting at 2.30pm on the final day of each of the courses. The concerts are free of charge for family and friends to attend and will last no more than an hour.
How much does it cost?
The course fees are £16 per day. Financial assistance is available to cover 75% of costs subject to meeting financial criteria. For more information, please contact the bursary administrator at email@example.com or visit our Financial Assistance page.
