This immersive musical theatre course gives young performers the chance to develop their singing, acting and movement skills.
You’ll work on repertoire from a wide range of styles, including contemporary and concept musicals, rock opera, jukebox and light opera.
You’ll take part in practical workshops in physical theatre, improvisation and audition technique. Along the way, you’ll build confidence, performance skills and experience of working as part of a group.
The course ends with a performance in the Benenden School Theatre on the final day. This is a 5 day residential course.
For singers who want to take things further, this course can support progression into Kent Youth Choir.
All staff working with children and young people hold a current enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and take part in regular safeguarding and child protection training.
