This course is for more advanced musicians who are ready to play as part of a full symphony orchestra. Over six days, you’ll rehearse and perform with other young musicians, guided by professional orchestral tutors.
You’ll work on core symphonic repertoire and explore a wider range of styles, including music from films and shows.

Rehearsals focus on technique, interpretation and learning how to listen and respond as part of a large ensemble.
This is a six day residential course. The course ends with a performance in the impressive Centenary Hall.

This course can be a great step towards Kent Music’s highest-level orchestral ensemble, Kent County Youth Orchestra.
All staff working with children and young people hold a current enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and take part in regular safeguarding and child protection training.
