Wind Band Course

This course gives woodwind, brass and percussion players the chance to play as part of a large wind band. You’ll rehearse with other young musicians and work closely with experienced wind band tutors. 

You’ll take part in sectional and full rehearsals, helping you improve your technique and learn how your part fits into the wider music. You’ll work on a varied programme, including well-known arrangements and traditional wind band repertoire.

Wind Band can be a step towards Symphony Orchestra or Kent Music’s advanced county ensembles like Kent Youth Wind Orchestra and Kent County Youth Orchestra
