Hosted by Kent Music in collaboration with Chris Fish, founder of Passing Notes Education, this course is designed to support secondary school music teachers to excite and enthuse pupils in composition at KS4 as well as provide guidance on GCSE and A level composition.
Students can often find composition challenging – this session is designed to give confidence to teachers delivering composition, breaking it into manageable tasks, bringing together all the elements of GCSE music.
This session will focus on how students can achieve the best grades when using a stimulus and composing to a brief.
This session is designed for secondary school music teachers of any GCSE exam board. We welcome experienced teachers as well as NQTs and trainee teachers.
