An opportunity for teachers that work with SEN/D children and young people to explore the uses of a variety of different Assistive Music Technology. Instruments on display range from bespoke technology including Skoog, Beamz and iPads, as well as ‘hackable’ music tech such as BBC Microbit and Raspberry Pi. The focus will be on how technology can be used to increase inclusion in music lessons and promote musical expression and creativity.
Session Leader: Luke Crook
Luke is Kent Music’s Education Manager (SEN/D) and has a background in community music facilitation, youth work and sound engineering. Luke studied Audio and Recording Technology and Music Technology at De Montford University.
