This session with Penelope Manser is for anyone using singing in their music lessons with KS2 and KS3. Discover ways to improve singing in the classroom, to support your MusicPlus lessons and your ensembles. Starting with the voice and how to produce a good sound, it will move through to exploring leading techniques that will achieve a good ensemble whether you’re singing in unison or parts. Learn how to teach new repertoire, think about changing voices and how to sing in a healthy way.

During this session you will learn how to develop accurate and expressive singing, develop your skills leading singing activities and refresh your repertoire. You will come away with ideas of songs to link in with other parts of the curriculum and how to learn new songs.

Please bring a song or warm up involving singing you love to use, to share with others.
