Create, experiment and start producing music
Medway Music Tech Explorers is a fun, hands-on group where young people can discover how music is made using the same technology found in professional studios. Using iPads with Logic Pro, members will create their own tracks, experiment with beats and sounds, and bring their musical ideas to life.
Each session starts with clear, guided input before giving young people time to explore, create, and make music in their own way, with plenty of encouragement and individual support along the way. No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and imagination.
As your confidence grows, you’ll develop valuable skills in creativity, focus, and problem-solving, with a clear pathway into GCSE and A-level Music Technology for those who want to take it further.

Meet your tutor
Medway Music Tech Explorers is led by Noah Lock, a musician and music technologist who knows first-hand where music can take you. Noah began his own journey with Kent Music as a young musician, performing with both Kent County Youth Orchestra and Kent Youth Wind Orchestra, before going on to study music at degree level.
He first explored music technology at home using GarageBand, later developing his skills with Logic Pro to create projects including film and video game music. Alongside his work in music technology, Noah is also an accomplished double bassist. He brings a friendly, encouraging approach to sessions, helping young people build confidence, creativity and practical skills while having fun making music with technology.
