Music Lab

The Online Music Lab is a creative space for young people aged 11-19 to work on band development, music technology and production, singing and instrumental skills, song writing and more online.

Bringing together fantastic tutors covering a whole range of instruments, music tech, singing and more, the online Saturday sessions are a brilliant opportunity to build your skills, confidence and experience, as well as experiment and create in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you’ve been to one of our Labs in Dartford, Folkestone, or Maidstone, or are brand new, we’d love to welcome you to our creative crew. We look forward to you joining us!

The Online Music Lab has supported young musicians across Kent all year, making some amazing tunes and developing skills in the process. Listen to some of their pieces in the videos below.

The group will run two courses this term, each one half a term long. You can see the dates for each course below.

Term dates:

Term 5: April 24th, May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

How to join:
It’s easy! You just need to sign up via the link below. You’ll be taken to our online course platform where you can sign up for Online Music Centre membership alongside other services such as music lessons and instrument hire. Then, simply choose your course and check out. Once you’ve completed checkout, you’ll be sent further information on your course/s.

How much does it cost?

We are offering membership of our Online Music Centre at a reduced rate. As a member you will have access to all the online courses, so you can join as many as you wish!

Membership is charged per half term course.

Young person (aged 18 and under): £15 membership per person per half term

Adults (aged 19 and above): £20 membership per person per half term
