Take your singing to the next level
West Kent Senior Voices offers older singers the chance to develop their vocal ability in a more advanced and rewarding setting every Saturday in Tonbridge. It’s a fantastic next step for young singers, especially if they’ve previously sung in West Kent Junior Voices or similar junior choirs.
Members work on classical choral music and more complex harmonies, while continuing to enjoy the creativity, collaboration, and joy of group singing in a fun and supportive environment.
Weekly rehearsals include warm-ups, exploration of vocal technique, and a wide range of repertoire, helping students to deepen their musical understanding and grow in confidence as performers. The group takes part in concerts alongside other ensembles, giving members the thrill of sharing the stage and showcasing their progress.
Senior Voices also provides a clear progression route into county-level ensembles such as the Kent Youth Choir, supporting young people who want to continue their choral journey.

Meet your tutor
SheWest Kent Junior Voices is led by Elizabeth Ellis, a well-loved singing tutor in Kent and Medway. Elizabeth is also a performer, even having worked as a Fairy Godmother for Disney! She brings a wealth of experience, support and musical styles to the group.
