Music Explorers Course
*NEW FOR 2018*
Saturday 14 July – Sunday 15 July 2018
This is a two day course ideal for all young instrumentalists starting out on their musical journey. It is designed for pupils who have experienced whole class instrumental lessons at Primary School or who have had instrumental lessons for a term or more. Players will be encouraged to take the next step in their musical exploration by playing in a multi instrument ensemble. They will make music together with others of similar age, experience and ability in a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere. The “Explorers” will play and sing at the end of course performance for family and friends.
All of our staff who work with children and young people have a current enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure & Barring Service and we run a programme of regular child protection training for our teachers.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org when you make your application if you would like us to provide an instrument.
Level – Beginner (some experience of instrumental tuition necessary) to Grade 1
Instruments – Any instruments welcome (limited places on percussion and keyboard)
Fee: £120 – 75% bursaries are available upon meeting criteria. Visit the Financial Assistance page for more information.
