We are sorry to announce that, due to the COVID 19 pandemic and the continuation of social distancing measures we have made the extremely difficult and very sad decision to cancel Kent Music Summer School at Benenden School this year including all County Group courses due to take place in July.

For answers to queries about refunds, as well as our organisational response to the COVID 19 pandemic, please visit our COVID 19 page here: https://www.kent-music.com/news/kent-music-and-covid-19-coronavirus/

Please keep making music and we look forward to welcoming you to our activities in the future.

Recorder Course

Wednesday 22 July – Friday 24 July 2020

Many people learn to play the recorder but there are very few opportunities for them to play in large ensembles led by professional musicians.

Students on this course will focus on developing the skills needed to perform within an ensemble including the introduction to a variety of recorders. The focus is very much on enjoyment whilst making progression within in an ensemble.

All of our staff who work with children and young people have a current enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure & Barring Service and we run a programme of regular child protection training for our teachers.

Free end of course performance for family and friends on Friday 24 July.

Age: 8 to 19 years old

Level: Beginner to grade 5

Fee: £192 – Financial assistance is available upon meeting criteria. Visit the Financial Assistance page for more information.
