Wednesday 25 July – Friday 27 July 2018
Many young people learn to play the recorder but there are very few opportunities to play in a large ensemble led by professional musicians. This course caters for a wide range of ages and abilities, and covers popular and classical repertoire. Young players will not only hear advanced players perform but also have the chance to play alongside them in a large ensemble. The music studied on the course is performed in an end of course concert, which is free for family and friends to attend.
All of our staff who work with children and young people have a current enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure & Barring Service and we run a programme of regular child protection training for our teachers.
Level: Wide ability, from reading and playing three notes to Grade 8+
