Welcome to Canterbury Music Centre!
Canterbury Music Centre (CMC) is a brand-new hub for music making in the city, thanks to the generous support of Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys who are hosting us in their facilities.
The Music Centre is here to serve the local community by creating new opportunities for people to come together, make music, and continue their musical journey outside of school. Whether you’re just starting out or already developing your skills, this is a place where you can grow as a musician and connect with others who share your passion.
We’re starting our journey with the Canterbury String Orchestra, open to string players of all ages, and we’re excited to expand with more groups and lessons in the near future. Our aim is to build a thriving centre that supports the musical life of Canterbury and offers a welcoming space for musicians across the area.
We look forward to welcoming you to Canterbury Music Centre and to seeing it grow into a vibrant part of the city’s musical community!
