Teaches:
Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Recorder
I am a woodwind teacher specialising in doubling. I was a Kent music student myself attending Benenden Summer School on the wind band courses from 2011 to 2016 and progressing to play in KYWO so it’s a full circle moment getting to teach for Kent music. My first memory of music was playing in a recorder group in my primary school which was always the highlight of my week. What got me excited about teaching was being a Benedetti Ambassador where I got to learn more about teaching and how exciting it is to bring the joy of music to people of all ages! I bring enthusiasm, kindness, and encouragement to the lessons I teach whether that’s 1-1 or whole class teaching!
I have a Masters in Multi-Reed Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where I graduated in July 2024. Since graduating I have worked on P&O’s cruise ship Arvia as a showband musician travelling the Caribbean and Mediterranean. I have also performed as a dep low reed multi-instrumentalist for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular over the 2025 Christmas Season. Alongside this performance work I am a wedding/party musician, performing in beautiful venues across the UK where I perform solo, in my duo with a guitarist (Golden Hour Duo) and with my sax quartet (The Velvet Reed Quartet).
