Lise-Marie Steve

Strings

Teaches:
Violin, Ukulele

I have been teaching for 15 years both individual and group lessons. I love teaching and seeing how confident my pupils get and their love of music. I started learning the violin at the age of 3 through the Suzuki method. Music became a big part of my life. I went to study at the Birmingham Conservatoire and doing my Masters Degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London. I discovered my love of teaching along the way and did a teaching Diploma at the Royal Academy while doing my Masters degree.

I got the chance to teach in various institutions, private schools in London as well as Junior Trinity and being a string mentor at ARK School. As well as coaching orchestra and string quartet sessions, I teach whole class, one to one lessons, small groups and love the experience of meeting new people along the way. I adapt my teaching to each individual and context. I think this is the key to promote good progress and a positive experience. I love helping my pupils reach their potential and encouraging them along the way.
