Jazz Christmas Special a big success
Band without Boundaries‘ successful year culminated last night with a Christmas Special, Jazz Club session which attracted a record number of people. Over forty joined in as Joe Browne, their band leader, sent them dashing through the snow on a seasonal sleigh ride of favourites.
Attendees have been busy tweeting:
“Just got back from Jazz Club in Sevenoaks. Brilliant night, great atmosphere. Will definitely go again. Well done everyone”
and we have recruited some new participants for next year.
The icing on the Christmas cake was the announcement that local businessman Ken Deamer a Director of Jones, Lang, Lasalle property agents raised over £2,200 for Community Futures at their annual quiz night on the evening of 11th October.
A percentage of this money will be used to support the Band without Boundaries Jazz Club that is organised and run with Kent Music.
