Musicians Unite for Medway Music Centre Concert

Members of Medway Music Centre staged an end of term concert at Fort Pitt Grammar School for Girls, Fort Pitt Hill, Chatham.
The Medway Towns Centre has more than 250 members of all ages, who enjoy making music together in more than 30 ensembles, ranging from classical music to jazz and rock. The groups who took part included the hugely successful concert orchestra, saxophone and clarinet ensembles, brass and wind bands as well as strings, percussion and flute groups – something for all tastes.

Medway Music Centre manager Phill Hyde said: “We are proud of being the largest music centre in Kent and Medway, with more than 250 people attending our Saturday morning sessions. This concert enabled some our members to share some of the superb work they have been producing with the wider public.”
