I enjoy long walks, reading and playing cello (which I took up in my forties!) and I am now a proud member of the Maidstone and Medway Sinfonia. I played flute (and some piano) as a child and gave private flute lessons for a time when my children were young. My enjoyment of music is broad... Soul, Baroque, Disco, Classical, Jazz... My favourite place to visit in Kent is Reculver Towers - where, as a kid, we decamped from east London each summer for a week's holiday in the caravan. My halcyon days!
