Join us for a FREE full day of training designed specifically for Music Leads teaching in Special Schools.
This session will focus on assessment and awards through The Trinity Awards and Certificates in Musical Development (ACMD) based around the Sounds of Intent framework. The day is open to all music leads working in SEN schools and mainstream special provision; whether you are already using the Trinity ACMD qualifications, or are completely new to it.
We are very lucky to have this session delivered by both JJ wheeler (Trinity) and Gennie Joy ( Trinity ACMD moderator and Kent Music Senior Leader for the Music Hub).
The day will offer opportunities for teachers to:
- Get started with Trinity Awards and Certificates in Musical Development; inlcuding how to navigate the system
- Sample a moderation of pupils’ work and get to grips with guidance on completing moderation work
- Explore the Sounds of Intent domains and understand the differences between levels
- Create a shared bank of example activities to used with your students
- Meet, share practice and connect with colleagues
