Our popular full-day conference returns for its fourth year, bringing together teachers, music leads and school leaders from across the region for a day of inspiration, practical tools, and connection.

Whether you work in EYFS, primary, secondary or SEND settings, this is your space to explore new ideas, gain confidence, and re-energise your approach to music – whatever your school’s size, resources or challenges.

What’s on:

You’ll hear from a brilliant range of national voices and local educators, with sessions designed to meet you where you are and give you ideas to use straight away. The day will include:

  • Prof Martin Fautley talks Assessment in Primary and Secondary | One of the UK’s leading voices on music education assessment will lead practical sessions on meaningful, manageable assessment across primary and secondary.
  • Katie Teage: Planning for neurodiverse children in your choir, Keeping Upper KS2 engaged in music | Two practical, energising sessions from a teacher with real-world experience.
  • Kickstarting Singing in Year 7– ABRSM | A focused session on music transitions from Year 6 to Year 7, led by ABRSM’s expert team.
  • Lindsay Edmondson – Inclusive Practice | Tried-and-tested approaches to ensure music is genuinely accessible for all learners in your classroom.
  • Panel discussion: Joining the dots between classroom music making and extra-curricular music| How can we better connect classroom learning with choirs, instrumental lessons, and ensembles? This session brings together voices from schools, hubs, and the wider sector.

Ticket Information:

  • Free for teachers from schools in Kent and Medway
  • £50 for teachers from schools outside Kent and Medway or independent schools

Please note, this event has sold out two years running – places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Non-attendance, or cancellations received 14 days or less before the event start date will be subject to a charge of £50 to cover venue hire and food.
