Welcome to Kent Music’s Inclusion page.

As a Music Education Hub (MEH), we are committed to our task of ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, be that through whole-class opportunities or with one-to-one tuition.

In order to meet this aim, we have in post a dedicated specialist to support primarily Special schools in Kent with their music provision, as well as Mainstream schools. Our Inclusion Development Manager coordinates direct delivery in schools, CPD/training to support schools music provision, development of new and existing ‘accessible music instruments’ to improve young people accessibility to music making, the development of new, inclusive ensembles and much more.

On this page you will find both contact details for Mandy Sangiuseppe, our ‘Inclusion Development Manager’, and links to some of the projects that Kent Music have either delivered or supported to improve accessibility to music for young people with additional needs.

Mandy is keen to hear from anyone with questions or ideas around inclusive music to ensure that all young people have the opportunity to access music, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with her.
