Musical Director for West Kent Youth Orchestra and West Kent Youth String Orchestra

£30.07 per hour for 2.25 hours per week (inclusive of holiday pay). 33 weeks per year. Contributory pension scheme

An opportunity to musically direct a long standing, well-established youth orchestra and string orchestra that plays to a high standard. The ensembles have a traditional focus as well as playing some modern contemporary repertoire. The purpose of the ensembles is to educate and to prepare students for life in a modern orchestra as well as to play a variety of works and to entertain its audience. Trustee Vacancies

Kent Music is seeking to appoint four trustees, to include two 18-24 year olds to ensure that Kent Music discharges it statutory obligations as a charity and also to bring specific skills, knowledge or experience to help the board of trustees reach sound decisions. This may involve leading discussions, identifying key issues, providing advice and guidance on new initiatives, and evaluating or offering advice on other areas in which the trustee has particular expertise.
