Consultant Teaching and Learning Assessor

Kent Music is looking for a qualified music teacher with substantial experience of quality assuring music teaching. Kent Music has devised a framework and quality assurance programme for its tuition programme, covering individual and group lessons and whole class music tuition. The consultant will work with the Kent Music team to observe and assess our instrumental and vocal teachers who deliver individual, group and whole class tuition in schools and in music centres.

Tonbridge Primary Schools’ Orchestra – Musical Director

A confident and experienced Musical Director is sought for the inaugural Tonbridge Primary Schools’ Orchestra. The MD needs to be comfortable working across a range of genres (including non-western music) and working with young students who are of mixed ability and playing a variety of instruments.

Date: Friday 20 March 2020

Location: Hugh Christie School, White Cottage Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN10 4PU

Timings: 1pm – 4pm for rehearsals and 4.15pm – 5pm for the concert

Pay:

  • MU Workshop Leader Rates for 2019/20. £202 per day.
  • 1 full day at £202 for Rehearsal and Concert
  • 2 full days at £202 per day for preparation and arrangement of music and communication with KM
  • £606 in total.
  • Kent Music is a registered charity and therefore not VAT registered. We understand it is possible for your accountants to designate your fee as an education payment and therefore make it VAT exempt. We would be grateful if you would make these arrangements.
