Accountant

Part time (15 hours per week) £50,000 p/a pro rata plus a pension contribution of up to 3% of salary

Kent Music is seeking a qualified accountant to lead on budgeting and budget monitoring for the charity and to oversee the annual audit. This is a critical role in the organisation and comes at a time when Kent Music is entering an exciting new phase. In September we move to a new building in Ashford and we look forward to a period of growth now that we have recovered student numbers in the wake of the pandemic.

Teaching Vacancies

Salaried Piano Teacher – Tonbridge & Malling, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge & Malling

£24,400 – £29,705 plus a pension contribution of up to 3% of salary (0.4 FTE minimum requirement)

Kent Music is seeking a dynamic and committed Piano teacher for the Tonbridge & Malling, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge & Malling areas. We are looking for diverse candidates who can provide high quality and inclusive music tuition to children, young people, and adults across Kent in one to one, small group and whole-class settings. This role will include teaching at various schools and the West Kent Music Centre (Sevenoaks) on a Wednesday evening (term time).

The West Kent Music Centre is spread across two locations, the Sevenoaks campus focussing on a wide range of instrumental tuition, vocal tuition, junior ensembles, and the Tonbridge campus hosting weekly advanced ensembles.

Kent Music is seeking dynamic and committed instrumental teachers to provide high quality music tuition to children, young people, and adults across Kent at our Music Centres in Maidstone Music Centre, Medway Towns Music Centre and the Ashford Music Centre.

This role will include teaching at three of our thriving Music Centres. Maidstone Music Centre on a Tuesday evening, Ashford Music Centre on a Wednesday evening and the Medway Towns Music Centre on a Saturday morning. The opportunity to teach 121, small groups and whole class instrumental tuition in various schools is also available.
