Folkestone Music Centre (FMC) is an inspiring local music hub based in the heart of the community and designed with musicians in mind.
We are currently developing our plans for the new academic year. When we open our doors, we will be offering a range of lessons and ensembles for musicians of all ages, backgrounds and interests in the Folkestone area!
It’s the best place to connect with the local music community, providing access to fantastic music education outside of school hours and regardless of the availability of lessons and groups in schools.

We are particularly excited to be restarting the Folkestone Music Lab, a creative space for young people to develop their skills in band development, music technology and production, singing and instrumental skills, song writing and more.
The Lab has been a thriving part of the Folkestone youth music scene since 2017, and we can’t wait to get back up and running again. Find out more about the Lab and how you can get involved on their group page, and read all about the first FML gig here.
