Folkestone Music Centre (FMC) is an inspiring local music centre for all types of musicians at all levels from ages 8-19.
Our specialist tutors tailor the activities to the musical interests of the young people who attend and everyone is welcome to bring their own ideas and musical influences to add to the mix!
It’s a great place to connect with other local young musicians, providing access to fantastic music education outside of school hours.
Our ensemble the Folkestone Music Lab is a creative space for young people to develop their skills in band development, music technology and production, singing and instrumental skills, song writing and more.
The Lab has been a thriving part of the Folkestone youth music scene since 2017, and we are excited to be back up and running again. Find out more about the Lab and how you can get involved on their group page, and read all about the first FML gig here.
Music Centre membership is fantastic value from only £4.50 a week, with some great benefits!
As a member you will have access to all ensembles at our Music Centres across Kent, so you can join as many as you wish, no matter which centre you initially signed up at.
