Welcome to Medway Towns Music Centre!

Medway Towns Music Centre (MTMC) is an inspiring local music hub based in the heart of the community and designed with musicians in mind. With over 200 members attending on a weekly basis we are proud of being the largest music centre in Kent and Medway.

We offer a range of lessons and ensembles for musicians of all ages, backgrounds and interests. With over 20 different ensembles, as well as a host of talented teachers ready to start lessons, whether you’re a pro or a beginner you’ll find something for you at MTMC.

“There are so many ensembles available at different levels, everyone has been so welcoming, and it is truly amazing getting to play with musicians of all ages and abilities…I couldn’t give enough praise to MTMC and Kent Music as a whole!”

It’s the best place to connect with the local music community, providing access to fantastic music education outside of school hours and regardless of the availability of lessons and groups in schools.

We look forward to welcoming you on your musical journeys!

Joining a local music ensemble like an orchestra, choir or band can enhance this playing, giving you the opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn new skills, and become a confident player.

Ensembles are always enjoyable, and often there is the opportunity to join in with performances and showcase your talents.

Many of our ensembles may be suitable for children from 6 years old. Please note that, if your child is under the age of 11 years old, a parent or carer will be required to stay throughout the time that your child is at the centre.
