The Sevenoaks Music Centre is an inspiring local hub, offering a range of instrumental lessons and ensembles for musicians of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. It is a centre of excellence in music education in the area and a fantastic place to connect with other musicians and access high-quality music education outside of school.
The Trinity School site boasts amazing facilities, including a music tech suite, designated practice rooms, large rehearsal and performance spaces, and plenty of social and breakout areas. With all these opportunities available, Sevenoaks Music Centre is the perfect place to develop your skills and join the vibrant Kentish music community.

Lessons
Learning to play an instrument or sing is incredibly rewarding, giving you a sense of achievement and a lifelong skill. Our passionate and talented teachers are ready to welcome students of all experience levels and backgrounds.

Groups
Joining a local music ensemble like an orchestra, choir, or band can enhance your musicianship, give you the opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn new skills, and become a confident player. Ensembles are always enjoyable, and often there is the opportunity to join in with performances and showcase your talents.

FAQs
How do I get to the centre?
By Car: Trinity School is located just off the A25, which can be easily accessed from the M25, M26 or A21. It is a 6 min drive from Sevenoaks town centre, a 20 min drive from Tonbridge town centre and a 25 min drive from Tunbridge Wells town centre. There are ample free car parking spaces on site.
By public transport: From Sevenoaks Station, take the 308 bus towards Gravesend for 16 mins and get off at The Crescent. The nearest station is the Bat and Ball which is an 18 min walk to Trinity School. The following bus routes stop at Trinity School: 02, 308, and 08.
Once onsite:
Park at Trinity School – plenty of parking is available onsite (Seal Hollow Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 3SL)
Carefully walk through the car park towards the school.
Instead of ascending the steps to the main entrance, walk round to the left of the main school building towards the Weald of Kent Annexe.
Turn right down the path after the patch of grass.
Follow the path round to the right, turning back towards the school.
Enter the double doors on your left, opposite the stairs.
Go through the next set of double doors.
Sign in with our lovely receptionist.
Parking:
There is a huge amount of parking available onsite for Music Centre attendees.
How much does it cost to join the Centre?
We aim to make Music Centre membership as affordable and accessible as possible for everyone who wants to join the music community. Once you’re a member you will have access to all groups at our Music Centres. You can join as many as you wish, no matter which centre you initially signed up at and make even more music! Lessons are an additional charge. However, if you have lessons with us you will receive a 10% discount on your Music Centre membership.

Is financial assistance available?
Our belief is simple: music should be accessible to all. That’s why we offer financial assistance to help you learn and grow. What if I don’t have my own instrument?
We offer an instrument hire service at affordable rates. You’ll get a discount on your instrument hire if you have lessons with us! This allows students to access high-quality instruments without the need for a significant upfront investment. More information on instrument hire can be found on the Instrument Hire page.
