Paul White

I am a professional guitarist and guitar teacher with a broad range of experience, having been in the profession for nearly 30 years. Alongside my work for Kent Music, I am also a Lead Teacher at Hertfordshire Music Service and a session musician. I perform regularly with a number of bands in a wide range of different styles, and have played all over the UK and Europe. I established and managed a successful recording studio in North London and continue to write and record music. I studied at the Guitar Institute and hold a BMus degree. My teaching career started when I was asked to take over the guitar teaching position at my secondary school, having completed my A levels. Since then, I have always been employed as a teacher and have worked in both the classroom, teaching at secondary level, and as a music performance and technology teacher for further education colleges. I teach students of all ages and abilities and hope to cultivate a love of music and a pathway for young musicians to achieve their musical goals, whether that is playing for enjoyment or working towards having a successful career in music.
