After studying violin and piano at the Junior Music School in Maidstone, I went on to study both instruments at the Royal College of Music. I loved playing violin in the orchestras there, but piano remained my passion and the instrument I decided to teach. After a fourth year there for advanced study, I began to teach piano to a wide range of students and became committed to life as a piano teacher, performer, and accompanist. My teaching constantly develops as I work with my students.
Music is my main life interest as well as my career, but outside that I love walking my dog, bird watching, gardening and nature.
