Another excellent Summer Course for Kent Schools Orchestra!
The Kent Schools’ Orchestra met for a three-day course at Ashford School at the beginning of June, conducted by Lori Norris. A fun time was had by all, and the course culminated in an excellent performance from the young players on the last day. The players concentrated on various techniques employed by string players and finished the day with a rousing rendition of Palladio (Jenkins). Look out for the next KSO course in the Autumn half term!
Many of these string players will be coming along to the Kent Music Summer School courses at Benenden school – if you, or someone you know, is a string player, why not try the Junior String, String Orchestra or Orchestral Course! More information can be found on the summer school page of our website.
