Music Explorers Course
Saturday 17 July – Sunday 18 July 2021
The Music Explorers course is ideal for all young instrumentalists at the start of their musical journey. It is designed for pupils who have experienced whole class instrumental lessons at Primary School or who have had instrumental lessons for just a few months but have had little or no ensemble experience.
Players will be encouraged to take the next step in their musical exploration by playing in a multi-instrument ensemble. They will make music together with others of a similar age, experience and ability in a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Please contact email@example.com when you make your application if you would like us to provide an instrument.
All of our staff who work with children and young people have a current enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure & Barring Service and we run a programme of regular child protection training for our teachers.
The course will end with a performance on Sunday 18 July. However, it is with regret that we have decided not to allow audiences into the end-of-course performances at Summer School this year to limit the risk of potential transmission. We look forward to welcoming audiences back for future KMSS performances!
