Music CORE: Toolkit – a practical guide to youth inclusion in project planning
Between April 2012 and March 2014, Kent Music was awarded a grant from Youth Music (www.youthmusic.org.uk) to create a programme which enabled young people from West Kent to have a greater impact on the development of music making opportunities in the area. With this task in mind the Music Core Youth Panel was created. The Music Core Youth Panel consisted of 12 young people who worked alongside a mentor to create a youth gig night called Platform at the Tunbridge Wells Forum. This Toolkit has been produced to help other organisations create, develop and implement their own youth panel’s.
