Kent Junior Choirs Christmas Concert 2014

The Kent County Junior Choir (KCJC) and the Kent County Junior Singers (KCJS) have had a fantastic autumn term and winter concert! KCJC had their first performance at Mote Hall in Maidstone on November 22nd where they sang in a concert with the groups Force 10 and Medway Towns Music Centre Concert Orchestra for Kent Active Retirement Group. After this great success the choir were more than ready for their Christmas concert!

Both choirs performed Christmas repertoire and the audience joined in with carols on December 13th at All Saints’ Church in Maidstone – the concert also saw the choirs join forces to perform a specially written piece by Dave Harding – Silent Starry Night. The concert was a fantastic culmination of all the children’s hard work last term and put the audience truly in the Christmas spirit! We are now looking forward to next term’s rehearsals and performances – the first rehearsal for KCJC and KCJS will be on Saturday, January 17th 2015 10am – 3.30pm at New Line Learning Academy in Maidstone.
