I am delighted to write to announce our term dates and prices for the academic year 2023/24 and also to thank you for all the support you have given to given to Kent Music during the past academic year.

Changes to Terms and Conditions
Our revised terms and conditions are published on our website at this link but I would like to draw your attention to two important changes:
- Late Payment of tuition fees
“Kent Music will attempt to contact customers by phone to discuss any reason why payment has not been made and whether the invoice needs to be adjusted. If the invoice remains unpaid, lessons will be suspended with effect from the the start of the term (Autumn term) or the half-term break (Spring and Summer terms),.”
- Lesson Discontinuation
“If written notice to withdraw is received after the discontinuation deadline but before the second week of teaching starts, then 50% of the termly fee is due (equivalent to a maximum of 6 lessons). If notice is received after that point, then 100% of the termly fee is due.
Music Centres
We are pleased to announce an introductory offer for music centres. Anyone joining a music centre for the first time after the May half-term break will receive free membership for the remainder of the term. Find out more and sign up to join your local centre through this link.
September 2023
Invoices for tuition and instrument hire for the Autumn term 2023 will be sent out in the week beginning 24th July 2023 and payment is required within two weeks of the invoice date.
If payment is not received in full by the end of August – or an instalment plan has not been agreed by then – we reserve the right to remove the student’s lesson from the teacher’s timetable and reallocate the lesson to another student on our waiting list.
For customers hiring instruments, we reserve the right to terminate the hire contract and you will be required to return the instrument immediately.
